Fine Dining

On returning from the morning game drive, guests are welcomed back by the aroma of morning coffee. The cold breakfast comprises of a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Orders for a hot breakfast are taken and vary from day to day.

At 14:00, a high tea is served in our new 'al fresco' dining experience, a central boma made from wood, thatch and canvas overlooking the magnificent views of the reserve. A selection of tasty breads, salads, pastas and something for the sweet tooth.

Upon the afternoon/evening game drive, guests will stop for sundowners overlooking spectacular views of the reserve. Guests can enjoy drinks of their choice as well as light snacks such as biltong, roasted nuts and cheeses. This is often the highlight of the game drive as the African sunset is definitely one to witness.

After returning from the afternoon game drive, guests are welcomed back with Amarula hot chocolate around the crackling open fire. This is a great opportunity to interact with and meet the other guests. There is no better way than to spend an evening under the stars with the sounds of the night. Who knows, one may even have your wish come true as you wish upon a shooting star.

Dinner is served either in the main dining area or at our new 'al fresco' dining experience.  Dinner consists of a three course meal prepared by our trained chefs. Guests may even be lucky enough to experience a true South Africa "braai" - a barbeque that is presented in a buffet style with a spread of salads, hot vegetables and barbequed meats. After dinner, there is always something for the sweet tooth which can be enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee.

After enjoying dinner, guests are invited to socialize with the other guests or to retire to the comfort and luxury of their room. Whatever the preference, they will awaken to the sounds of the birds chirping, ready for another day of adventure in the bush!
